17 EMS Years of Service Pin
Our EMS 17 years of service pins are 3/4-inch diameter round pins. This style is the national standard for honoring EMS (EMR through Paramedic) workers, paid and volunteer. This high-quality cloisonne-style pin features a Navy Blue star of life on a bright white field. The outer navy blue ring contains the words “17 YEARS EMS SERVICE” with gold-plated lettering and accents. Years of service pins convey to patients and other first responders that that is not your first rodeo in a respectful and professional way.
The pin uses a military clutch backing. This is also described as a single post and butterfly clasp backing. You may also purchase an optional Tie-tack pack. Be sure to select a polybag (standard) or our striking presentation box. Our lovely cloisonne-style pin will show your career progress on your uniform or enclosed in a shadow box.

This is a personal favorite pin of mine. I got my EMT-1A in 1981 (and later my Wilderness EMT) which I held for 17 years before burnout. I was unusual in that I spent very little time on a Rig as a traditional EMT, I did company safety, ran first aid stations for large races and outdoor events, and worked on several large national disasters. I worked on an estimated 3,500 people in the field. I worked an earthquake, a firestorm, an outdoor event with a milllon attendees (650+ injuries), many smaller events, auto accidents, boat rescues, countless workplace injuries and hours of calming incidents until “the cavalry arrived” – you know the REAL MEDICs. LOL My Disaster and EMS background help to create my career as a disaster consultant and product designer.
